After many trailers that showcased the game’s visuals and environment, today Rockstar Games gave viewers a deep dip into Red Dead Redemption 2 using its first ever gameplay movie , and gave the extraordinary graphics the trailer revealed to audiences now, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to be aware that the footage has been recorded through the enhanced capacities of PS4 Pro.
According to the PlayStation Blog, the newest footage published by Rockstar Games today for Red Dead Redemption 2 was seized “from in-game footage on PlayStation 4 Guru ” and has been confirmed to be exhibited in 4K, although no specific details were given regarding the rendering approach of its 4K visuals (which probably wouldn’t be native, but perhaps employ checkerboard rendering or a similar images procedure ).
In addition to this notion that the game will support PS4 Pro visual enhancements, Red Dead Redemption 2 will also encourage the capacity to display 4K visuals and HDR on Xbox One X, so owners of either enhanced console may reap the benefits that Rockstar will have on offer using Red Dead Redemption 2.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will launch for PS4 and Xbox One on October 26th, 2018. If you have yet to pick up a copy of the game, there is still time to pre-order the game on Amazon ahead of its launch this autumn.
