Overwatch League Grand Finals Brought in Over 10 Million Viewers

The Overwatch League year wrapped up just a couple weeks ago at this stage and it appears to be a great deal of people tuned in to watch the London Spitfire walk off as champs.

In new viewership data published today, it had been announced the Overwatch League drawn in over 10.8 million audiences from around the globe across the two times and two games which the Grand Finals lasted. By comparison, this viewership surpassed that of the Overwatch League’s coming week that lasted for a span of four times with twelve total matches. I believe it’s easy to state that viewership caught on as the year progressed.

The Overwatch League will next return in Los Angeles in the end of the month from August 25 through August 26 for All-Star Weekend.

As for the next year, it is already declared that the Overwatch League will be adding new groups with franchises located from Atlanta and Guangzhou. Expect more news on further groups joining the group from several cities across the course of the offseason.
