Playtonic Reveals First 64-Bit Image of Yooka-Laylee

Earlier today, Playtonic Games made a new blog article to their site to let fans know when they could expect to see more articles coming back into their 2017 platformer Yooka-Laylee.

When Yooka-Laylee was Kickstarted, among the effort ’s notable stretch goals entailed eventually incorporating a 64-bit resolution style as a callback to the N64 platformer Banjo-Kazooie. While this brand new visual filter has yet to be published, Playtonic now provided the first image of Yooka-Laylee inside this format, which you may see in the header image on top of the webpage.

Playtonic also said that they’re currently working on completing the developer remark series, which has been another stretch goal for the project, while also toiling away on another added content. While Playtonic didn’t provide a launch window for if all of these updates may be coming into Yooka-Laylee, they did say that they expect to get it out in the “near future”.

Finally, for people that are seeking to pick up Yooka-Laylee on Switch, the game is now discounted by 25 percent for the rest of this week till July 13.
