Capcom Reveals First Screenshots and Details for Resident Evil 2

As you may have discovered in the show preview, Resident Evil 2 is made in the exact identical engine as the 2017 release of Resident Evil VII. They also disclosed new details about how zombies will actively be influenced if damaged alone with more details on this reimagined version of Raccoon City. The complete details through the press launch are as follows:

Resident Evil 2 introduced characters who would go on to become some of the most iconic and beloved personalities in Capcom’s history: rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy and faculty student Claire Redfield, who are thrust together by a catastrophic epidemic in Raccoon City that changed its inhabitants into deadly zombies. They have to work together to survive and get to the bottom of what’s behind the frightening attack. Both Leon and Claire have their own separately playable campaigns, enabling players to find the story from both characters’ view.

Twenty decades after, the new Resident Evil 2 sees the nightmare recurrence, now with unprecedented levels of immersion as seen in a season’s acclaimed Resident Evil 7 biohazard.  With Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine Wearing a brand new photorealistic style, the characters themselves appear flatter than and the grotesque hordes of zombies are attracted to life using a horrifyingly realistic moist gore effect.

Zombies now respond in real time as they take immediate visible harm, making every bullet from the player count. Stunning lighting brings the comfortable chambers and corridors of Raccoon City Police Department to fresh life. Players will believe they’re in the shoes of personalities Leon and Claire, terrified to step from this light for fear of exactly that which flesh-eating nightmares might await them in the darkness.

Capcom Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi also spoke about the RE2 remake and stated that this first show is only the tip of the iceberg with what is made to come.

“The media and fan reaction to Resident Evil 2 once we said’We Do It’ at 2015 has been overpowering. We have been really eager to unveil the brand new game into the planet this past week. We would like fans to observe the reimagining of Resident Evil 2 not just captures the magic of the beloved first, but also extends it to produce a richer experience. The first glance at E3 is just a taste of what’s to come.”

To round things out, a ton of new screenshots to get Resident Evil 2 have been revealed. You will discover the gallery containing all of these at the bottom of the page.

In the event you didn’t see in the show preview, then Resident Evil 2 is supposed to launch this past year on January 25 to get PS4, Xbox One, also PC.
