A toast is in order. Today, game developer Sukeban Games declared that their narrative-driven, cyberpunk bartending simulator VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action will soon be coming to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 early next calendar year.
If you didn’t get the opportunity to play with the name when it published on PC and PlayStation Vita back in 2016, VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action stars Jill, a bartender from the modern nonetheless dystopian feeling of Glitch City. Jill interacts with NPCs as if any bartender would–by crafting and serving those drinks. Different cocktails may affect characters in various ways, as will the amount of alcohol that you allow each character to have. Throughout its simplistic point-and-click gameplay, VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action rewards you for listening, empathizing, and conversing with patrons.
Of course, the information of the port hardly comes as a surprise regarding that the gigantic success that indie titles have appreciated on both Switch and PS4. While Sukeban Games reports that they have sold over 200,000 copies of the game on PC and PlayStation Vita, the game (which currently boasts a great rating on Steam) will surely broaden its audience with the support of these additional platforms.
VA-11 HALL-A is available today on PS Vita, PC, Mac, and Linux, and is heading into PS4 and Nintendo Switch early next year.
