id Software and Avalanche Studios Are Co-Developing Rage 2

Observing the reveal preview of Rage 2 earlier now, more info about the open world first-person shooter has continued to trickle out. Details like platforms along with the box art were some of the first information to arrive and today, it appears like we know who’ll be developing the project.

When checking out the official Rage 2 site, the English version of the website doesn’t share much information regarding who’s creating the project, though when altering the speech of the site, these details seem. Upon altering the translation of the webpage into Dutch, Russian, Italian, or any of the other languages provided other than English and Japanese, the game’s description shows that Avalanche Studios and id Software will soon be co-developing Rage 2.

Avalanche Studios is well-known for producing a litany of all open-world names like  Just Cause 3 along with the more closely connected apocalyptic game Mad Max. Identification Software, on the other hand, served as the first developers behind   Rage and lately is most famous for the re-launch of all  DOOM. It seems as though Avalanche has been brought to Rage 2 to   work on the open planet characteristics of the game while identity Software will once again boast their own always-satisfactory shooting mechanics.

What’s fascinating about this pair working together, though, will be to see whether it affects any other rumored jobs and their timelines.   Just Cause 4 and   DOOM 2 happen to be much-rumored rumored  names that a thought could seem at E3 next month, however, this has all just been conjecture without any proof.

In any event, we’ll certainly continue to learn more about Rage 2 and of these studio’s other projects next month through E3 2018.

Update: The official Rage Twitter account confirmed what was stated previously.
