God of War is all the rage right now as we all continue to get more news virtually every day because we draw closer to the game’s April release.
Barlog was asked on Twitter by a lover about whether he’d must upgrade into the PS4 Pro to get the most out of God of War. Barlog reacted with this:
Nope, you overlook’t have to, but if you really do 4k is AMAZING, then in case you’ve got a 4k TV, of course. If you don’t, we’ve got a performance mode that puts the extra power to utilize and which makes the game run so smooth!

In a followup query, Barlog confirmed this functionality manner is only going to be on the PS4 Pro. He also said in this response:
“in case you crash in 1080 on ace it’ll use the electricity normally utilised to leave in 4k to create the game run faster. It looks/moves sooooooo fine. ”
Meaning that even in case you own a PS4 Guru but not a 4K TV, you’ll continue to be able to reap plenty of benefits as the game will operate at a higher fps than what’s standard. In reality, as is normal with most other functionality modes, it’ll likely be near 60fps but will fluctuate when required.
God of War is slated to launch in just about three months on April 20. Before that time we’ll certainly receive additional information on the difference between how the game will run over the typical PS4 in comparison to that of their PS4 Pro. Until then, don’t hesitate to have a look at a current trailer for the game displaying battle and another recent TV commercial to hold you until release.
