New Sonic Racing Game Teased at Sonic the Hedgehog SXSW Panel

SEGA declared earlier now which they’d be revealing two new Sonic the Hedgehog related   projects at their Gotta Go Fast: The Official Sonic the Hedgehog Panel at SXSW. One of these jobs was Sonic Mania Plus, a definitive mechanical variant of past year’s critically acclaimed 2D Sonic game. That being said, yet another name was teased at the close of the event – a fresh Sonic the Hedgehog racing game.

Even the Sonic the Hedgehog series isn’t a stranger to racing games. Back to the Game Gear, there was that the Sonic Drift series. About the Sega Saturn, there was also the infamous Sonic R. Much more recently, the Sumo Digital-developed Sonic & All-Stars Racing series graced last-gen consoles. While details on this brand new Sonic racing title are now scarce, we do know it isn’t a sequel to some previous Sonic racing game.

In terms of the brief teaser trailer, it doesn’t tell us much about the game. It starts with a car revving up, simply to go to the game’s logo with just the lit up.   You can have a look at this teaser trailer at the bottom of this report.

While this name is now with no official title, programs, or launch window, then DualShockers will make certain to let you know when all of those items are declared.
