Ubisoft Pledges to Continue Supporting Nintendo Switch; “Very Pleased” by Mario + Rabbids

During Ubisoft’s quarterly investor conference call, Chief Executive Officer Yves Guillemot and   Chief Financial Officer Alain Martinez Spoke about the Writer’s Prognosis on the Nintendo Switch.

Martinez stated during the prepared comments that Ubisoft is “very pleased” by the operation of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, that was the best-selling third party game to the Switch in 2017, also adding that the success of its launch in Japan  confirms this trend. As a result of this Switch’so “strong momentum” the game should gain from long-lasting earnings, and Ubisoft will be the “blatant third-party pioneer” on Switch, and they mean to continue to build on the “good ten-year-plus relationship with Nintendo. ”

Afterwards from the Q&A Guillemot affirmed that the relationship with Nintendo “proceeds to grow,” along with the writer is “very happy” together with what was achieved using  Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and   Just Dance was also a big seller on the Switch. He added that in the future theyre “likely to do additional things but cant provide further details for now.
