Since its launch last July, Splatoon 2 has turned into one of those Nintendo Switch’s bestselling games, sending over 4.91 million copies. Nintendo has continued to market and encourage the game since launching with various weapons, maps, along with Splatfests. For people that are still looking to pick up the game, Nintendo has introduced Splatoon 2 Starter Edition, that includes some additional goodies for the same price as the base game.
Nintendo games generally take a while to drop in price, so you may too get the maximum bang for your dollar with Splatoon 2 Starter Edition due to all of the extra stuff that it offers instead of buying the normal version of Splatoon 2 for exactly the same cost.
Recently, as part of this renewed Splatoon 2 drive, Nintendo revealed that Pearl and Marina would soon be getting amiibo of the later this season. While their in-game purpose and release date are still unknown, we do know they will be available only through a two-pack that can cost $24.99. Fans of Splatoon-themed product surely have a lot to look forward to this year.
