SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy’s Story Mode Will Offer Different Dialogue Depending on Heroine Pairing

Recently SNK shown their forthcoming 2.5D fighting game SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game will contain prominent characters from the SNK library of female characters at a 2 versus 2 tournament-style fighting game.

With the game having been declared only little is understood about the modes that will be offered. DualShockers had the chance to sit down with  designer Kaito Soranaka and producer Yasuyuki Oda to learn about the game’s Story Mode. Oda-san confirmed a story mode will be contained and that itll offer dialogue depending on the pair of heroines you select.

“There will be a Story Mode provided in the game, however depending on the characters you chose, the conversations will alter. ”

By Way of Example, the Story between Mai and Nakoruru will probably be different than the narrative between Yuri and Mai.

At the moment of the writing, just six figures have been declared but just with these, the feasible narrative outcomes are already quite large. However, it remains to be seen if such stories will carry any weight supporting them if they will follow the lighthearted tone shared with all the game’s motif.

SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy has players select two characters to take with them into a battle. During gameplay, they’ll be in a position to switch the heroines with the press on a button to either expand combos or unleash powerful finishing moves. Linking a movement is the sole way.

In case you missed it, from the exact same interview, we discovered that the team plans to launch a complete game at launch with no current DLC character statements.

SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy is coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2018.

Our meeting with Oda-san and Soranaka-san will be published shortly. Today we also got another trailer revealing the inescapable outfits.
